*A reference to an earlier "support ticket" detailing a prob with Comcast, who blocked us for no reason we could see about 48 hours after we asked them to cancel the block they'd imposed for no reason we could see.

(We have about 200 Mil's List subbers at Comcast, all of whom verified their subscriptions, obv. We only discovered the block when several of these subbers wrote in wondering why their newsletters hadn't arrived.)

My question to Hostingplex at that point was to check that server3 was clear -- I wondered if we were being caught in crossfire between admins and a deranged pharmaceutical swindler or something. They replied that it was impossible to tell (because "over 800" sites were on server3) but that Comcast were notoriously quick to blacklist and seemed to block Hostingplex servers "on a monthly basis."

Hostingplex Support concluded by volunteering kindly to write to Comcast in support of our request, but tragically this did not persuade the careening ISP and we abandoned them to their fate.
