I can't abide euphemisms for death. It's possibly the most ludicrous thing people do - attempting to cushion the blow of someone's dying by referring to it in a coyly quiet manner as "passing away" or "resting peacefully" instead of "being dead" WHICH IS WHAT THEY ARE.
